Leave a Legacy

Gift planning is finding ways to make charitable gifts now or after your lifetime while enjoying financial benefits for yourself. Planned gifts are sometimes referred to as "stop-and-think" gifts because they require some planning and, often, help from your professional advisors. Unlike cash donations, they are typically made from assets in your estate. UGA has put together an easy-to-use website to help you with your planned gift.

Student Giving

Make Your Mark

Senior Signature

Seniors can designate a gift to their favorite Student Affairs program through the Senior Signature program. Look for campaign representatives at Tate Plaza before Spring Commencement. Or  you may fill out this form to give now! A minimum gift totaling $50 is required to be included on your class plaque. ($20 for Senior Signature and an additional gift of $30 or more to a Student Affairs program that impacted your student experience.)

Take the Class Challenge

Students who make a minimum $20 gift and Take the Class Challenge in honor of their future graduating class are doing their part to make a difference at UGA. Making a class challenge gift is also how students can become a part of the Student Alumni Association (SAA). SAA students are able to take advantage of special events, giveaways, and networking opportunities throughout the year. The class challenge gift can go to support the Student Affairs programs that had the greatest impact on your student experience. Fill out this form to take the class challenge.

Faculty & Staff Giving

Further Your Impact

Spread your gift payments over time. For example, a monthly gift of only $8.33 is a $100 gift to help Student Affairs. UGA faculty & staff have the convenience of requesting deductions each payroll period. Regular payments may also be scheduled by authorizing credit card transactions or fund transfers from a banking institution. download Payroll Deduction download Fund Transfer
